Brief Outline of My Story .. So Far
My whole life, I was a basketball player first and everything else came second. I played every day and night while growing up. Whenever someone would ask, "What do you want to be when you grow up" .. Of course I said an NBA Player.
Well my senior year of high school I was having a pretty good year and was getting a few offers to play college basketball but mid-way through my senior year I got hurt and had to have knee surgery and took me out the rest of the season .. which really hurt my stock if you will.
So I had to go to a junior college in Illinois by the name of Joliet Junior College. Which by the way, hold 2 records of being on the best regular season team with a record of 30-2, and individually with the most 3 pointers made in a single season (133). While at JJC, I was was a Computer Information and Technology major.
Because I had good success at Joliet playing basketball, I was able to keep my basketball dreams alive and attend a Division 1 school here in Indianapolis, IN called IUPUI. Things did not work out for me like I had hoped with basketball.
My first year did go well, playing in 21 games as a reserve and had high hopes for my senior year as a Jaguar. But in pre-season, I hurt the same knee again, different injury, and tried to play through it the first half of the year. It only got worse and was forced to have knee surgery for the second time on the same knee in January of 2006.
This is where things got interesting .. I had no direction in my life .. was clear to me that the NBA was no where near (haha) and I had switched my major from computers at Joliet (first 2 and half years) to business at IUPUI (next 2 and half years) and basketball was just going to be my favorite hobby from now on.
So after a successful surgery, I still remained on the team and traveled and attended practices, games, and everything else involved .. but one day at practice, in my crutches, I overhear about a home business opportunity. My first comment was, "Oh does this deal with the stock market or something" .. Had no clue about this entire industry. I decided to follow up with it and really liked what I heard so I joined my first business opportunity in March 2006.
So, my whole life was basketball, until I get hurt .. and WHILE at basketball practice, in my crutches, I hear about my first home business opportunity .. Just like running in stride as this just landed in my lap and I decided to take off with it (with crutches at the time haha).And as I said before, it was right up my alley, I was a computer major my first 5 semesters of school, and now a business the next 5 .. It just went hand in hand to do Business Online. I am not a suit and tie type of guy, nor am I really wanting to sit behind a computer all day either!
My lifestyle as a home based business entrepreneur has allowed me to live a life that most of my college teammates and friends envy!
And in the midst of all of this, I met the true best thing that has ever happened to me. Devika, who is now my girlfriend and have spent the last 2 and half plus years of my life with.
