I recently was looking around the internet and ran across a few things that I think everyone should be clear about before starting any home based business, let alone Roadmap To Riches.
I want to take the time to chat about taking responsibility of your life and discovering your personal mission.
First, one of the most important things you can do to become successful in this industry its to define your personal mission as to what your really trying to accomplish with any home based business. Your WHY? Why are you doing or seeking a home business? That must be your main focus before you get started.
One of the most important things successful people do is to find, acknowledge, honor, and pursue their “purpose” with enthusiastic passion. Now, that may seem over the top to you, but it is true and you must be willing to sacrifice now to benefit later. (thanks to barbie)
A personally compelling reason to “do what you do”
is the battery that keeps you on track, on target, and
on purpose consistently and persistently HAPPILY.
Here’s how to begin defining just what your “battery”
is:
1. List two of your unique personal qualities that come easily and naturally to you (for example - compassion, creativity, enthusiasm, etc.)
2. List two ways you naturally express those qualities when interacting with others (for example - guide, support, encourage, etc.)
3. Assume for a moment that the world is just the way you want it to be. How are people interacting? What does this world look and feel like? Write your perfect world answer as a present tense statement, just like it’s happening before your very eyes right now.
4. Combine all the previous three answers into your mission statement. It might look something like this: Your purpose is to *1-use your qualities* to *2-expression of your qualities* to create *3-the perfect world*.
